Underwater Photo Equipment

Taking underwater photos requires highly specialized equipment. The slightest mistake in assembly can result in flooding which unfortunately can totally "fry" all your expensive gear. Many hours of care and maintenance are spent in making sure that all delicate parts are water tight and functioning properly. Taking photos underwater is extremely difficult. The underwater photographer has to monitor his dive plan, air supply, buoyancy, decompression limits and depth. Other factors are fast currents, changing light conditions and fish that won't "stay still" for that special portrait.

The gear I use is comprised of the following:

Sea & Sea NX90Z Camera Housing

Sea & Sea YS 120 TTL and YS 90 TTL Strobes

Nikon N90S 35mm camera body
